I grew up in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, with parents who were like cats and dogs but still lovingly together. Much of my childhood was spent outdoors; camping, fishing with my father, and falling asleep by firesides under the stars. Those early days gave me a love of nature, beauty, and the sense of belonging that continues to guide my work.

I first studied International Relations at Bilkent University; though I quickly realized my true calling was creating rather than analyzing. I shifted to Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, graduating in 2007, and moved to Istanbul to pursue my dream. There I worked with a leading design company, eventually becoming a partner, and shaped a wide range of projects; restaurants, hotels, retail, clinics, and even nightclubs, which became some of my favorites for their energy and theatricality.

Alongside my career, I was always exploring the inner world. I practiced reiki; attended psychodrama and family constellation sessions; explored shamanic drumming, plant medicines, and breathwork. In 2017 I trained as a yoga teacher, completing a 500-hour certification, which deepened my daily practice and continues to influence how I design spaces that nurture presence and connection.

In 2019, what began as a six-month adventure in Tulum, Mexico, turned into several years of creative and spiritual expansion. I designed hotels, restaurants, and installations while immersing myself in Mayan lands, yoga, and inner alchemy. Later, I traveled to Asia for a Vipassana retreat and a dark room retreat with Grand Master Mantak Chia, completing advanced inner alchemy training. These experiences sharpened my belief that spaces can transform how we feel, not just what we see.

Bringing together two decades of architectural expertise with a lived devotion to wellness, I now focus on Architectural Alchemy—consulting hotels, restaurants, and retreat centers to become sanctuaries of renewal. Alongside this, I continue to create art installations, extending the same philosophy into experiences that awaken beauty, connection, and transformation.
